The eqasim model
The base configuration of eqasim features a pipeline that applies common algorithms to synthesize rich and detailed agent-based transport simulation scenarios. They are then paird with the discrete mode-choice extension of MATSim to simulate individuals behaviour in the study area.
Currently implemented scenarios can be found here. The first point of entry should be the scenario of Île-de-France, where most of the documentation can be found. Detailed documentation of the eqasim pipeline approach you can find here.
The scenarios are simulated using the agent- and activity-based transport simulation framework MATSim in combination with eqasim's novel Discrete Mode Choice extension.
All parts in that chain are replacable and adjustable which allows to test novel, specific models in an integrated context.
